David King hung the very first bright blue DK For Lease sign in an empty storefront. And, you may have noticed, he has hung quite a few in the ensuing years. Ubiquitous is the word that comes to mind.

David King & Associates is housed in the Community Bank building on Lake Street, where he, of course, also handles the leasing. He lives in Forest Park and has strong ties in both towns.  In the interest of full disclosure, King has also been the leasing agent for the Wednesday Journal Building on Oak Park Avenue and just leased one of our storefronts to a new retailer. Details to follow.

Never shy in offering an opinion on any aspect of local development, local or state politics, David King is equal parts enthusiast and critic. And with 20 years of history, the man has plenty of perspective.
