Thoughts on destruction at the Mayor's house

Opinion: Letters To The Editor

In their effort to show how little we need police protection, thugs/vandals destroyed property at Mayor Anan Abu-Taleb's home. Do the vandals see the irony of their acts?  So who would they call if their property or lives were in danger?

Reviewing our funding priorities is a good idea. Outright defunding is not a thoughtful response. And vandalism just provides their opposition with scorn for their stance.

Seriously, fool? Charles Manson led "protests"? He was a sociopath, not a social organizer. Put the pipe down. You've had more than enough.

I learned a new term after this incident. "Protest mentor". It refer's to someone who mentors people in how to protest. Back in the 60's we had a protest mentor. His name was Charles Manson.
