Kaye M. Gibson, 90, formerly of Oak Park, died peacefully on May 11, 2020. Born on April 6, 1930, she was the youngest of the three children of Elsie (McCurdy) and Bill Mulhall. She is survived by her five children, two of her three grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

Kaye graduated from Presbyterian Hospital School of Nursing on April 26, 1951 and began a long career as an emergency room nurse, nursing home administrator and insurance adjudicator. She and her husband, James R. Gibson II, retired to Syracuse, Indiana in 1985 where she became active in the Syracuse Garden Club, Business and Professional Woman's Club and All Saints Church. 

An avid reader and antiquer, she also volunteered at the Syracuse Library and was a devoted secondhand shopper. 

A party in her honor will be held at the home of Rick and Melissa Gibson, 9354 E. Nattie Crow Road, Syracuse, Indiana on Saturday, June 20 from 2 to 4 p.m.
