On May 18, our 45th Wright Plus Housewalk was attended by more than 2,000 guests, visiting from across the country and around the world. They were welcomed by residents of the Oak Park community, who opened their doors and their hearts. We are deeply grateful for this gesture of hospitality and friendship. Together, we celebrate the architecture, design and unique history that defines this extraordinary community.

We would like to thank the homeowners for sharing their beautiful residences and the plethora of inspiring stories contained within each home. We are grateful to the more than 500 volunteers who spent hundreds of hours on planning and execution to make the housewalk a spectacular event. And finally, we would like to thank our guests, who traveled far and wide to explore the architectural legacy of Frank Lloyd Wright, one of America's greatest visionaries.

Wright Plus would not be possible without our sponsors: Blue Cross Blue Shield of Illinois, @Properties, Village of Oak Park, Luxe Home/Merchandise Mart, Downtown Oak Park, Chicago Trolley & Double Decker Co., Heritage Tile, Searls Windows & Doors/Marvin Windows and Doors, Albion Residential, Baird & Warner, Community Bank of Oak Park-River Forest, McGrath Automotive Group, Trader Joe's, West Studio and Eleven33 Apartments.

We also thank our Dine Wright partners: Cozy Corner Breakfast Boutique, Cucina Paradiso, Delia's Kitchen, Giordano's Restaurant & Pizzeria, Hemmingway's Bistro, Il Vicolo Trattoria, Little Gem Café, Maya Del Sol, Mickey's Gyros, Petersen's Ice Cream and Winberie's Restaurant and Bar.

Wright once said, "We create our buildings and then they create us." In partnership with our neighbors, we will continue to build a culture of friendship in Oak Park. Our annual Wright Plus Housewalk shines a light on Wright's legacy here, but even more vividly illuminates the generosity of this unique community.

Thank you sincerely,

Celeste Adams
