Phyllis C. Bradley, 82 of Forest Park, formerly of Port Huron, MI died suddenly Oct. 23, 2010. She worked at Mueller Brass in Port Huron for over 40 years in the accounting area. Upon retirement Phyllis went on to be a foster grandparent at Landmark Academy where she loved helping tutor children in math and English. She taught Sunday school for decades at Ross Bible Church.

Ms. Bradley then moved to Forest Park to be near her sister and nephews and niece. She worked part-time at David King & associates, the commercial real estate business owned by her nephew and niece. She also volunteered with Honor Flight Chicago helping coordinate their “Mail Call” program for World War II veterans.

She was known as being extremely energetic, fiercely independent and fully engaged in her family and community until her death.

Ms. Bradley is survived by her sister, Delores King; nephews David and Dennis King and niece, Debbie King; and aunts and uncles John Pagen and Chris Stokes and Ruby Pagen.

Services were private and arrangements were handled by Drechsler Brown & Williams Funeral Home in Oak Park.
