Ladies and gentleman, hear this.

President Trump has now edged to a one-point lead over Democratic nominee Joe Biden in the latest Rasmussen Reports' weekly White House Watch survey. While statistically insignificant, it's the first time Trump has been ahead.

The new national telephone and online survey finds the president with a 47% to 46% lead over Biden among Likely U.S. Voters. Three percent (3%) prefer some other candidate, while four percent (4%) remain undecided. (To see survey question wording, click here.)

The race has narrowed over the past two weeks. Biden had a two-point lead last week, but that survey also marked the first time Trump had edged above 45% over the past two-and-a-half months. Prior to this week, Biden has bested Trump in every weekly survey since White House Watch began at the beginning of July.

Not over till it's over, of course. But things are a-changing.

Ditto Trafalgar Group.

In key swing state of North Carolina, a new poll from the Trafalgar Group shows President Trump leading Joe Biden 47.8-percent to 46.1-percent.

Getting interesting-er and interesting-er.

Latest NY Times/Sienna College poll released this morning- Biden up 9 points in Arizona (11 electoral votes), 49 to 40. Maybe Trump can ask Joe Arpaio to campaign for him.

What is that you claim is your "disability",Mr. Bowman? Are you just cracking wise? I cited the poll you offered as not being a reliable source and linked It to the support you have repeatedly expressed for right wing politics. I get that Trump is your choice regardless of his personal failings, history of bigotry and that he is a pathological liar. He's appointing judges who share your ideology and using the courts to dismantle government oversight, eliminate environmental protections, and abolish the ACA. You're getting the Wall of your Dreams. It's a massive waste of tax dollars that will have scant impact on drug smuggling or undocumented immigrants entering the country. There's no shortage of narcotics and people over staying their visas remains a reality. Trump is demonstrating the same leadership that defines his failed and corrupt business record. That's what you and the GOP want from the leader of the free world.

I heard 68% of people don't respond to pollsters. A recent poll had 517 Democrats, and 399 Republicans. And surprise, Biden was ahead.

Oh, I pay attention to everyone, Jim. And everything. But at some point you have to make judgments and choices, which I do. And you. We just very much disagree. Btw, the national polls were well within their MOEs in 2016. It was the electoral college- the state pols, that missed it by what? 77,000 votes over 3 states? You support an autocrat, Jim. So I'd argue you're not thinking clearly. Unless you've always been undemocratic and I missed it.

And Jim C., you got that right about me and Trump etc. Amazing how clear-headed I remain while burdened by such a disability!

Bill D: "Rasmussen is graded C+ by FiveThirtyEight" -- which is rated what by whom? And Bill, did I not get over my refusal to look at things by citing Gibraltar? And how did your 538-rated polls do in 2016. And how did Rasmussen do then? And how is it in the cocoon you inhabit, huh?

Once again, GIGO applies here. Garbage in, garbage out. .. National polls mean nothing, although if you want apples to apples, the IPSOS / Reuters poll this morning has Biden ahead 50-41 nationally. But only state polls matter for the electoral college. And they show a totally different picture, one Jim Bowman refuses to look at. The most recent polls from B+ to A+ rated pollsters like Monmouth, Marist, Siena College / NT Times and ABC / Washington Post (Rasmussen is graded C+ by FiveThirtyEight) show Biden ahead by more than the margin of error in Michigan, Wisconsin, and Pennsylvania, way up by 16 in Minnesota and ahead within the MOE in Arizona, North Carolina, Florida, and Nevada.

Consider the source. Both Rasmussen and Bowman are right wing supporters of Trump and the GOP.
