Reading Between the Lines

Here are a few suggestions for ways to recycle all those books that are gathering dust on your shelves:

  • The Oak Park Main library is sponsoring a Kids and Teens Book Swap on Monday, July 18 from 3 to 6 PM in the Veterans Room. Bring your gently used books and trade them out for some new titles.

  • The annual Book Fair is coming up.  Friends of the Oak Park Library are seeking used books for the event, which is Aug 5 and 6 in the Cafeteria of OPRF high school. You can leave donations in the marked bins in front of the school.

  • Networking event at the Under the Ginkgo Bed and Breakfast is collecting new and used books for the Books to Devour Organization.  Reservations required.
