Oak Park Township Assessor Ali ElSaffar visits Dole Branch Library

Oak Park Township has partnered with Oak Park Public Library to share resources and information in two free programs coming to Dole Branch Library.

On Wednesday, July 9 at 7 pm, join Oak Park Township Assessor Ali ElSaffar for “Oak Park Tax Talk.” This special conversation, open to everyone, will address the issue of rising taxes and how best to avoid financial liabilities, including an emphasis on affordable taxes after retirement.

On Wednesday, August 6 at 7 pm, a new library series for seniors kicks off with “What Can Oak Park Township Senior Services Do For You?” Join Celeste Duignan, Nutrition Program Manager at Oak Park Township, to learn how the Township works to enhance the quality of life for seniors in the community through services that promote independence, self-esteem, and dignity.

Oak Park Township focuses on human and social services, including relief to financially struggling community members; it funds and administers many programs for area seniors and youth; and provides funding to various mental health agencies through its Community Mental Health Board, all enhancing and improving the quality of life of Oak Park residents.
