In order to avoid long early voter lines, I just voted at the Oak Park Conservatory. There were only 5 in line. I went with the old paper ballot. I like connecting the arrows. I voted for Barack because I think he's a cool guy, and I can tell my grandchildren that I voted for the first African-African president who was a Muslim Socialist.I can also argue that I am not a racist, which is good. Plus Romney reminds me of Judge Smails from Caddy Shack. What a tool.
I wanted to voted against all the Democrat candidates for state and county offices, but most of them ran unopposed, which might be part of the problem. Duh. Plus I don't want to encourage these hackers. I went with the Green Party candidates for Water Reclamation. Seems kind of obvious.
I forgot my list of "bad" judges, so I voted "No" on all of them. My apologies to the good ones if there were any. Maybe they should be appointed. I must admit I felt kind of like Danton or Robespiere going all anarchial on the judicial system.
I voted "Yes" on being informed about fracking whatever it is. And "No" on changing the Illinois Constitution . If the pols are for amending, I'm against it.
All in all I had a pretty good time considering that my vote this morning was utterly meaningless.
