What does it mean to be transgender? What is the difference between sexual identity and gender identity? The Oak Park Area Lesbian and Gay Association+ (OPALGA ) will address these questions and more when they host a Transgender Educational Panel for National Coming Out Day, this Saturday, Oct. 12 at 2 p.m. in the Veterans Room of the Oak Park Public Library. The panel will discuss pronoun usage and proper terms, debunking myths and harmful stereotypes, and how to be a good ally.
