Amadeus, art, and a Free Concert this weekend

"Amadeus" opens this weekend in Austin Gardens, 165 Forest in Oak Park.  It's brought to you by the Oak Park Festival Theatre group and is an annual summer experience.  The play runs through July 13 with 8pm performances on Thursdays through Saturdays and on Sundays at 7pm.  This award-winner tells the story of Mozart's death.  Get tickets and a complete schedule at or call 708-445-4440.

How about a low tea, games on the lawn, music, and art for your weekend fun?  It's all brought to you at "Watch Chains & Lace" by Steam Punk at Oak Park's beautiful Pleasant Home, 217 S. Home.  This event will take place on Saturday, June 16 from 5 - 8pm.  Go to for tickets.

There's a Free Concert at Scoville Park on Sunday, June 17 from 5:30 - 7pm.  The 50's to today music of Spoken 4 will play for your pleasure.  Bring blankets or chairs.
