If you enjoy theater, you have so much to see this weekend in our corner of the world.  First, “ART” takes the stage with its funny stories of relationships, modern cultural divides, and, of course, art.  See it at Triton College’s Cox Auditorium, 2000 Fifth Ave. in River Grove.  Performances at 7:30pm on Friday and Saturday, 11/9 & 11/10 and on Sunday, 11/11 at 2pm.  Tickets at www.triton.edu .  

The Tony Award winning, “Rent” tells the struggle of young New Yorkers keeping their dreams alive in a very tough world.  See it at Dominican University, 7900 W. Division in River Forest at 7:30pm on Fridays and Saturdays from 11/9 – 11/16 or at 3pm on Sunday, 11/11.  Info at www.dom.edu/pac .

Even though the election is over, politics is always fascinating.  “Small” tells the story of those charged with getting thier guy elected as governor of Illinois.  It’s at the Open Door Repertory Company, 902 S. Ridgeland in Oak Park with perfomances on Friday and Saturday, 11/9 & 11/10 at 8pm and on Sunday, 11/11 at 2pm.  Details and tickets at www.opendoorrep.org .

And, finally, the love story for all times and ages is performed at Concordia University, 7400 W.
