Oak Park police said a couple walking in the 200 block of North Euclid Avenue around 11:30 p.m., July 13, were robbed at gunpoint by two unknown men, ages 20-25. The men approached and one displayed a handgun and demanded the belongings of the victims. The other man pressed an unseen hard object against the woman and repeated the demand. The woman surrendered a purse containing a white Apple iPhone 5, her passport and $40. The male companion was relieved of his leather wallet and a black iPhone 5.

Police said the offenders fled north on foot and were gone before police arrived. Loss was estimated at $1,120.
