Thanks for opposing pigeon killing in Oak Park

Thanks to the Wednesday Journal for being a voice of reason and compassion on the issue of the inconvenient pigeons. The idea of euthanizing pigeons is both cruel and absurd: Would we annihilate the entire species? Moreover, it reflects very poorly on our village.

I prefer feeding them Alka Seltzer to euthanizing them.

I can't believe that we're still talking about this. Stop. They're pigeons, not panda bears! Here's a "win-win" solution: Maybe a vegan can be stationed under the bridge to shoo away the pigeons whenever they cluster. Or, heck, a flock of vegans can take them home and raise them as part of their family!!

They should be killed and given to the food pantries. They are not needed and a nuisance to the community.
