Oak Park Police are investigating a vehicle crash that occurred at the corner of Roosevelt Road and Cuyler Avenue that killed a Berwyn man.
Juan Diaz, 28, of the 1400 block of South Kenilworth Avenue in Berwyn, was headed westbound on Roosevelt at a what witnesses reported as a high rate of speed when he struck a vehicle turning onto Roosevelt from Cuyler Avenue at midnight on May 3.
Diaz was thrown several feet from the motorcycle and landed on a curb. He was transported to Loyola Medical Center in Maywood and died from his injuries about an hour after the accident.
The 41-year-old driver of the other vehicle, who was not injured in the collision, was cited for failure to yield to a stop sign.
