I just finished reading your excellent report on the community meetings regarding the new pool at the high school. However, I was dismayed to see the return of the cartoon Shrubtown, which had been missing for several weeks, much to my delight. Marc Stopeck has no concept of what the process is right now, and to compare the District 200 board’s proposals to the candidacy of Donald Trump is laughable. Did he even attend any of the meetings? Does he know the ill effect of his cartoons on a vital need in the community? I sincerely hope he takes time off again. He is the reason I stopped subscribing to the Wednesday Journal, a long time before the pool controversy developed.
