Free Films for you in Oak Park and River Forest

On Sunday, January 8 at 2pm come over to the River Forest Library at 735 Lathrop to view "Departures". It's a Japanese film which tells the story of a cellist who loses his job and takes one in a funeral home. "Departures" won the Academy Award for best foreign language film in 2008. Not to be outdone, the Oak Park Library, 834 Lake Street, is holding a Free Film showing on Wednesday, January 11 at 6:30pm. Come see "Winter's Bone". This adult film tells the story of a mountain girl who undergoes many challenges as she searches for her father. More details at www.oppl.org .
